Respecting the past . . . while looking towards the future

These wonderful clients were looking forward to a retirement down south . . . . until they stumbled upon this spectacular parcel of land right in the town where they raised their family. Vacant for more than twenty years and overgrown, there was a Dutch Colonial farmhouse that originally dated to 1784 which had fallen into disrepair but was still structurally sound. Respecting that original structure and using that as a springboard for the design, we developed a home which is respectful of the past while being supportive of modern family life. Currently seeking municipal approvals, the progress of this home is certainly going to be a fun one to watch. Stay tuned!
